Who Am I?

Hello and welcome!  My name is Lee and I have always had a passion for finance, ever since I was a child.  In 2007, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a finance degree.  Even as a finance major, one thing I was never taught in school was how to manage money on a daily basis.

I ended up getting a job with the government after graduating, and it worked out, with the financial crash of 2008 happening a year later.  In 2013, I married my beautiful wife, Whitney, and moved from Harrisburg, PA to Nashville, TN, where we resided for more than five years.  We relocated to Maryland in 2018 with our adorable puppy, Yoda.

How Can I Help You?

While in college, I interned at a financial services company and even worked as an independent financial planner for several years.  This gave me exposure to real life financial problems that families and individuals face each and every day.  This gave me a true passion for wanting to help people with their finances.

I decided to launch this website to help anyone who has questions, concerns or problems when it comes to financial matters.  Also, this website is for anyone who just wants education and information on financial subjects.  It does not matter if you are just getting ready to graduate college or are days away from retirement – we all need financial advice and guidance.

About the Blog Name

Financial Fiddler is a combination of two of my biggest passions: Finance and playing the violin.  I started playing violin when I was 11 years old and I had the distinct opportunity to play professionally with the Hershey Symphony Orchestra for approximately 10 years prior to moving to Nashville.

I love learning new things about finance and discussing financial topics wherever I go.  My hope is that this financial blog can add value to your life and maybe even teach you a few things that you did not know even existed.
